As you begin to experience this new land

Remember that —

It is the Lord who is your Shepherd. So let Him lead you.

♣ God is good. He does only good things, and if you let Him, He would cause all things to work together for your good.

Help from man is vain. True help comes from only God.

God has not given us the spirit of bondage to fear. So walk in boldness, confident in the truth that you can call God Abba, Father.

♣ God has been faithful in leading and providing for you through the years. So rest in knowing that He is a responsible Father. He remains faithful.

Man does not live by bread alone. You need the Word of God even more than you need food. So seek it diligently. You would find life for your soul, and all that you need to do life successfully.

♣ To forget God is the beginning of the end. Do not attempt to take the glory that is due Him. When you really think of it, what can you do without Him?

It is God who gives us the power to get wealth. Again, do not attempt to take the glory that is due Him.

It is God’s purpose for you to prosper and be in health even as your soul prospers. So let Him lead you into His purpose for you.

Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God. So come to the feet of Jesus more often, and be quiet when Jesus is speaking.

♣ Faith speaks. So open up your mouth and let God fill it. Your expectations shall not be cut off.

♣ This new year can be a land that brings forth the purposes of God for you, or one more year of wandering in the wilderness, completely missing the mark. You get to make that choice, so be careful and diligent to choose right.

Death and life are in the power of the tongue. So do not, with your own mouth, abort the purpose of God for you.

♣ Your life is not about you. God is able to cause glory to be given to Him because of you. So let Him.

♣ Whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.

And the conclusion of the whole matter is still the same….

…Fear God, and keep His commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. Ecclesiastes 12:13.

May this new year count for Jesus, and may the end of it find us still giving glory to God.

  1. Thank you for these awesomely beautiful reminders and encouragement. I’m bookmarking this to print later.
Sometimes life gets busy and the pressures of it make us tend to forget that God is in it all with us, this can become handy in those times.
    Happy New Year.

  2. Wow! Some great wisdom here… This one really hit me between the eyes this morning… “♣ Death and life are in the power of the tongue. So do not, with your own mouth, abort the purpose of God for you.” Blessings on your 2018!
