Faith and Works

For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also – James 2:26.

The proof of the faith we have professed is in our works.

More than anything else, the things we do tell the true story of the faith we have.

So how alive is your faith? – anyone can tell by the things you do!

Do you call God Father? (Act like you are a child of God, then).

Do you love Jesus like you say you do? (Keep His commandments, then).

…shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works – James 2:18.

No, you do not always have to preach a sermon, or tell a story with words.

You are a living epistle, and how you live is an indication of the state of the faith you have professed.

(And faith without works is dead, and not very alive!)

So consider the faith you have.

Apply your heart to wisdom.

Be diligent to seek and do the will of your Father – in faith.

But without faith it is impossible to please Him: for he that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him – Hebrews 11:6.
