From the mouth of babes….
Recently, something happened at my class at children Sunday school. We had just finished discussing the story of Naomi and Ruth. Last minute, I decided to use the opportunity to mention Boaz (Just to pique interests for the next lesson!). When it was time to pray, I can’t say I was prepared for what came out of the mouth of the six year old girl who said the prayer! I believe it’s a powerful prayer (prophetic, even!). So I’m sharing this prayer, from the mouth of babes….
May our husbands farm and give us food if there’s famine in our land.
My chains must be broken….
I came across some songs that were new to me that had me thinking for a while. Consider these thoughts shared….
Am I sleepwalking through life?
I have these questions I don’t know if I should be asking.
(And then this…!) I don’t feel my chains anymore, they must be broken!
Affliction shall not rise up the second time….
God’s Word is true. It would only be our truth though, if we believe it. I came across this verse again recently….
What do ye imagine against the LORD? He will make an utter end: affliction shall not rise up the second time. Nahum 1:9
Does writing feel like going to war sometimes…?
No? Only me? I need all the prayers you’re willing to share then, friends! But I do believe this verse can put things in perspective….
For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. 2 Timothy 1:7
Grace for faithfulness….
May we find and grow in God’s grace that enables us to be faithful to His call on our lives.
