God is in the details

I don’t know what the story of your life has been, I don’t know the details of your journey so far but I can tell you that God has been here with you all along.

Be still.

And dare to consider the path you’ve been through.

You might be surprised at what you find.

We don’t always have the answers to all the questions that besiege our minds sometimes.

But God is here.

Why does He let some things happen?

Why does He let us take a second look at our faith because our reality does not always reflect what we’ve come to believe?

Why does He let our testimonies be challenged — like gold that needs to be tested to verify its authenticity?

We don’t always have the answers but we know that God is here…

Here in the fire, like He was with Shedrach, Meshach, and Abednego.

Here in the lions den, like He was with Daniel.

Here in the persecution, like He was with the early Church.

God is here, always, even when the view is clouded and we cannot see Him.

You can trust that He will be here always.

Take a breath.

Consider the details.

See the trajectory of the purpose He’s working out —  it is for His glory and for your blessing.

Every point will be useful, even the ones brought about by your missteps, because God is not limited by our humanness.

Be still and know that He is God.

Consider the details — you will not be disappointed.

If we believe not, yet He abideth faithful: he cannot deny Himself. (2 Timothy 2:13)

But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love Him. (1 Corinthians 2:9)
