We are not without help or power in this world.
As children of God, we have crossed over to the other side. It’s a side that’s not popular with the world, and so it opposes it. And sometimes, this opposition comes in epic measures and proportions.
Dear Christian, when you’re reading your Bible right, you would see that opposition is to be expected. When you crossed over to the other side, you became an enemy to this world and a target for all its twisted schemes and machinations.
But we have God’s assurance—
No weapon formed against us shall prosper…. (Isaiah 54:17)
We are not without help or power.
Our ways are different.
Our purpose is different.
We do not walk as fools, or stumble about in darkness.
This world does not understand our way, so backed by powers beyond anything the human mind could ever understand, it puts up a resistance, intending to bring us back to its side or take us out of the fight.
But our Father has not left us without help or power.
The enemy is not flesh and blood.
But we have in our arsenal, formidable weapons that can never fail.
Take the name of Jesus, for instance….
At the name of Jesus—
Knees of sicknesses and diseases shall bow.
Knees of lack and scarcity shall bow.
Knees of confusion and manipulation shall bow.
Knees of depression shall bow.
Knees of oppression shall bow.
Knees of stagnation and regression shall bow.
Knees of weaknesses shall bow.
Whatever the knees, wherever they are, at the name of Jesus Christ they shall bow.
So call the name.
When things don’t go the way they should… call the name.
When you notice behaviors that are beyond ordinary… call the name.
When you notice gang-ups and people coming together against you… call the name.
When you notice feelings and sensations in your body that do not agree with God’s word… call the name.
Call the name, child of God.
Call the name of Jesus Christ.
We know that there is power in His name.
We are not subject to the workings of the powers at work in this world.
We are not ignorant of the devices of the enemy.
So know your weapons and use them.
Know your place in God, child of God.
Stand, take your place, and live in the victory that Jesus Christ died and rose again for you to have.
Awake, thou that sleepest! Arise and redeem the time because the days are evil.
Heaven is watching.
