One day this world would see the fulfillment of the promise of the second coming.
Children would be gone.
Christians would be gone.
This message of salvation that they are presently resistant to would be gone.
Hope would be gone.
They might try to explain these things, but eventually the world would go on, completely oblivious (or willfully remiss) of the significance of what has happened.
Where is the promise of His coming?
Scoffers would continue to scoff.
Mockers would continue to mock.
Our fathers told us the story, just like their fathers told them.
The truth is—
Your belief or lack of it does not affect the fulfillment of this promise.
But pity those who would miss the event of His return.
We continue to extend the invitation because what is at stake is of eternal value.
And time is of essence.
What do you have to lose?
At least err on the side of caution if it’s the only way you can find to reach faith. I promise you on the authority of God’s word, you would not regret this decision.
All we have is time… now…. And tomorrow is not promised us.
Three reasons….
Three promises….
Remember the number three….
There’s more, but today I bring these three to your attention again….
Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto Myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know. (John 14:1-4)
And He said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in His own power. But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto Me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. And when He had spoken these things, while they beheld, He was taken up; and a cloud received Him out of their sight. And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as He went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel; Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen Him go into heaven. (Acts 1:7-11)
He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus. (Revelation 22:20)

Wherefore He saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light. (Ephesians 5:14)
