Faith is the rudder.
Truth is the way.
Hope is the fuel.
You do not have to see the whole course, for we walk by faith, not by sight.
Your purpose might seem like foolishness to the world;
There would be brighter and fairer paths that call out to you with grandiose allurement;
But you must remember that the natural man cannot understand the things of God, they are foolishness to him.
And even when you have to go alone – because you certainly will at some point – in truth, you are not alone. The One who has called you is faithful, and He will do it.
You cannot sink because Jesus is with you.
So how do you navigate in fog?
Well, no one has a complete grasp on these things, but we do have a cloud of witnesses that testify that if we stay on course, we would not be lost.
Today, I pray that your faith would not fail you.
May the truth you have found in God not be veiled by false realities and lies camouflaging as relief.
May your fountain of hope never run dry.
One day, at the right time, after all’s been said and done, you too would testify that no boat could ever sink with Jesus in it – no life ever could!
And if you would just stay the course, disdaining those alluring paths, and seeing them for what they really are – an outrageous price offered for a life that already cost the life of God – then, we have the divine assurance that our expectations would not be cut off.
After all He’s brought you through already, why would you stop now?
