Six Years And A Quarter Way Through

(A novel by Cassandre Brissot)

At the time I didn’t know it, but I stopped believing in God, in His might, in His love. I was lost, susceptible, no longer on guard against temptation — Six Years And A Quarter Years Through.

Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man: But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. James 1:13–14.

How far would you go to achieve your dreams?

And how much are you willing to sacrifice?

In Six Years And A Quarter Way ThroughCassandre Brissot tells the story of Leah Albanese. We meet Leah at a point in her life when she is on the verge of giving up on her dreams.

“All that glitters is not gold” is good counsel that should be heeded.

Because after Trenton Shaw shows up, Leah begins a journey that brings her back full circle to where she was at the beginning.

The story is written in a way that draws the reader in, and sheds light on the many ways we could very easily be drawn away from truth by the desires of the heart.

Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life. Proverbs 4:23.

Cassandre Brissot a Brooklyn, New York native, is a writer stepping into her purpose, and a redeemed of The Lord.

  1. I’ve been mulling over in my mind the idea of writing a series on The God for the Daughters. So many women seem to have given up on God. I want to show them that God has a heart for women. This book sounds like a good read for that very topic.

Thanks for coming by the Legacy Linkup. Hope to see you again next month when we are talking about grief.
