Dear weary minister

God sees you.

It’s true.

Even though it’s not that easy to see sometimes, and although there are times these days when nothing seems to make any sense, you must remember that God is still in control.

God is still in full, complete, and total control.

There is nothing that has taken Him unawares, and there is nothing that ever would.

He knows the end from the beginning.

And the thoughts that He’s thinking towards you.

He watches over His words to bring them to pass.

So rest in the assurance that everything is just fine, and you’re OK –because God said so.

No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and you shall condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. Remember, servant of the Lord, that this is your heritage. And your righteousness is of Him.

The lines are fallen unto you in pleasant places; yes, you have a goodly heritage.

The Lord is your Shepherd, therefore you shall not want.

He makes your feet like hinds’ feet, and sets you upon your high places.
The joy of the Lord is your strength.

You shall renew strength because you wait on the Lord; you shall mount up with wings as eagles; you shall run and not be weary; and you shall walk and not faint.

Look to Jesus, dear weary minister. He is the Author and the Finisher of your faith.

Remember your calling, and the One who has called you.

He is faithful, and He would not fail.

So remember Truth again.

And since you’ve been graced with another day, He’s not through with you then. You’re not done yet.

So carry your cross again today, and follow the Master.

Home is not that far away – and help, plenty – for the asking, and for the taking.
