Different is good

We used to sing this song at Sunday school, “Red and yellow, black and white, all are precious in His sight”.

If only we always remembered that lesson!

Different is good—because God made it that way—and He saw that everything He made was good.

So let me encourage you this season, as we remember how God gave the sovereign gift—His only begotten Son, so that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

You too beloved, are a gift and a blessing from God.

God is good and He does only good things.

In spite of what your experience has been so far, remember that the blessing of God maketh rich, and He adds no sorrow with it.

So let your light shine.

Let your difference show, and do not apologize for being true to who you are.

Because—

Red and yellow, black and white, all are precious in His sight.

So try this—

Be who God made you to be.

  1. I just love this! Yes I remember the song and still find myself singing it sometimes. Thank you for the encouraging words that we can be who we are and it is okay. #31.
