The illusion of choice

Freedom.

Power.

Room….

Tell me what you seek.

Where are you headed?

What restraints confront you?

And why do you keep going?

There is a way that seems right to a man but its end is the way of death.

Let me tell you, it is a lie that your life is yours to live as you please… well, unless you’ve not been redeemed.

You see, the whole world is sold, lost, and on the brink of destruction.

You were born into the chaos and, if you stop long enough to catch your breath, you will recognize the reality and see the fate of this existence.

There is no hope in this world….

Tell me,

Do you have the freedom to be?

Do you have the power to be?

Do you have room to be?

In the face of all that confront you in this place, tell me what hope looks like.

What do you have to give in exchange for the opportunity to just be?

What price is right?

We do not all have ambitious expectations.

Most just want to be allowed to be who they were made to be.

When the full expression of destinies are stifled by the wickedness of powers stronger than them, then men become willing victims of those who offer them pathetic portions of what already belongs to them.

It is a convoluted form of freedom, power, and room.

It is a poor imitation of hope.

There is hope, truly, but it is nothing like what this world offers.

There are only two options to choose from…

Would you live or would you die?

Everything else is only an illusion.

You do not, for instance, have the power to choose the consequences of your choice.

You cannot choose how much time you have before you reap the harvest of your choice.

You are not your own.

You are either sold or redeemed.

You are either on the path of life or on the way of death.

Tell me what you seek.

Tell me why you keep going.

Do you know what is at the end of the path you’re on?

Are you staying sold, or have you been redeemed?

Would you be redeemed?

Look again at what you’ve been offered. Have you been given a choice or only an illusion of it?

I can tell you right now that if it’s anything this world has to offer, it is an illusion.

So tell me, what are you going to do?

There is still that original choice to make.

Life or death?

Hope or that poor imitation of it?

Jesus or the world?

Do not let this world take from you the opportunity to be all you were made to be.

Jesus can help you. Let Him.

It could be the dawn of a new day right now.

What would you do?

What would you choose?
